As a young girl, I can remember dashing around with my Olympus OM-1, given to me by my parents. I had been "bitten" by the photography bug. I quickly became addicted to the rush of getting the perfect shot and finally finding an outlet for my creative side. My friends and family were not so giddy about my new hobby as they found themselves unsuspecting prey to my camera lens. As a fifteen year old, I could not understand why my older brother did not see the humor in a photograph of his exhilarated smile as he pulled into our driveway behind the wheel of our father's vintage ride, our father's very off-limits vintage ride. Later, with the perspective of age and experience, I turned my energies as a professional photographer to portraiture, landscapes, stills, and wildlife. I am often both humbled and inspired by our natural environment. I strive to capture these elements in my photographs and to create fine art with each.
